100 gram of Single Estate Darjeeling Green Tea

One of the least processed, organic Darjeeling Green Tea is full of health benefits. Contains highest amount of simple flavonoids (catechins) second only to white teas. According to studies a cup of Green tea a day can provide antioxidant effect equal to 6 apples

Rich in flavenoids like catechins, Epigallocatechin gallate, Theaflavins . These anti-oxidants render our skin shining; reduce cholesterol, & control obesity & diabetes. Tea is also advised for cancer treatment.

GABA (gamma amino butyric acid) present in green tea is a (chemical messenger) in the brain and is related to the neuroactive amino acid L-Theanine that is found in all tea. Theanine easily passes from gut to blood to brain and its calming effect due to promotion of alpha brain waves can by shown on NMR scans.

 

Recommended steeping: 3-4 mins   at 90-100 °C

Method:       

Heat fresh water (Spring water is best). Pre-warm the cup with hot water. Put one teaspoon (approx. 2 gm) of tea leaves in the pot. Pour the hot water into the pot & cover lid. Allow the tea to steep for 3~5 minutes (depending upon the required strength). Strain the tea into cup (add sugar/milk/lemon if required), examine the liquor, feel the aroma, enjoy your tea.

Note: Tea tastes best without any added condiments.
